Avaya, Avaya, Avaya…! Why Avaya?

That’s a bit like asking if you would want a top of the range sports car or an ordinary car.

Marley Comms is an official “Business Partner” with Avaya Communications and we are best placed to design, install and maintain these systems. We take the complexity away from you and make things as easy as possible for you or your company.

Having spent years in the telecoms industry we have an affinity with this wonderful piece of communications engineering. Avaya have listened to their consumers and partners needs and have created a superbly reliable, future proofed and exceptional value for money communications platforms.

The whole system is a good old fashioned telephone system with actual wires which connect to actual lines, which means that in this format it is an extremely reliable piece of hardware, however Avaya’s system is converged which in turn means that the onset of the world of IP is also catered for.

So, your system can be based on PSTN (Public Service Telephone Network) or in layman’s terms connected to a local exchange by an actual telephone line or it can be connected via the medium of the internet or IP. Or you can have a mix of both technologies to whatever ratio you would prefer.

Okay, so your next question is that all this must come at a price? As with anything in life you pay for quality but with Avaya’s introduction of the Combo card solution, you can buy a small Avaya IP Office 500 with 4 x Digital ISDN line ports, 2 x analogue extensions and 6 x digital extensions with VCM (Voice Compression Modules) at a very competitive price. You also don’t have to stop there as when your business grows we can easily add additional cards to the chassis to expand your business at a fraction of the cost.

One of the great advantages of the Avaya IP office is that a lot of the peripherals are software and licence driven, that is to say that once you have purchased the hardware and have it installed any other system or software package such as a call recording device or Call Centre reporting package is easily deployable through the purchase of the relevant licence and the installation of the appropriate software. A licence isn’t always a friendly word as some companies use these as methods to extract more money from their customers; Avaya’s licences are purchased as a one off cost and are applicable for the lifetime of the hardware.

The other amazing trait of this system is its ability to stay in touch with your selected maintenance team, if there are any problems with the operation of the actual system, extension or the lines, then rather than waiting for someone else to pick up the fault, sometimes hours later and letting you know that there is an issue, the Avaya would recognise the fault and will email an alert to the appropriate team.

The flagship Avaya mid-sized system is the IP Office 500 and it can range from 2 to 384 extensions on one site or as many as 1000 users over 32 separate sites. So our range of service is huge, from huge factories to single site offices. One thing is for sure, you will not outgrow this system as your business continues to grow.

We also offer a whole host of other additions to this telephone system like call reporting, billing, dialing and popping straight from your existing database.
